Turbo dispatch should look like this when you turn it on for the first time.

If there are any problems errors will be displayed in the scrolling log in bold.

Install

Click install and download to desktop.

Unzip the download folder.

Run setup.exe

The installation destination will be TD on the C drive. (Recommended).

If you have Turbo Dispatch 6 installed, it needs to be in the same directory.

Install for everyone incase you need to swap between user accounts.
(Recommended).

Click Next.

Click Next, it will take 15-30 secends to install.

Automatic Update

Once installed, you may need to update to the latest version.

Click File, and Check for updates

Finished.

Download Update (8.25.exe or 8.28.exe)

Save to the desktop.

Unzip download (TD6.28).

Copy or move this file to the TD directory on the C drive. This will over write the existing TD.exe.

Finished. 

TD8 Setup

To open the config file click File, then Settings.

Basic Data Path is the location where you installed TD, and the program looks for the Data folders under that directory.

Path Override is used when the data directory is in a different location to the install, just remove the #, and enter the new path.

IP Ports makes it possible to change the ports trackers etc can report in to, trackers setu would also need to be changed.

Mobitex IAS, If you have an IAS account, transcomm will provide you with the ip address to login to and a Man number, make sure you tab out once or twice and enter the corrisponding details.
