When you connect the power
First the "Power LED" has to turn on then wait.
Within 2-5 minutes the Mobem LED has to turn green.
Within 3 minutes the GPS LED will turn yellow and in 3-10 minutes the GPS LED has to turn green and blinking.
When the first 3 lights on the left are green the unit is communication to the host.
The last LED the DATA LED has to be turned off.
If the Data LED is red but the Modem light is green then it is fine, wait until the Modem LED turns green at that point the Data LED will turn off within a few minutes.
If the Modem and/or the GPS led does not turn green within as specified above or if they are green but the DATA LED stays red disconnect power for 30 seconds and reconnect.
Once the 3 lights on te left are green check with the person at the host that a GPS reading was received.
Once the Data LED turns off it is an indecation that the unit is communication successfully to the server.
If the data light remains red even if the Modem and GPD LED are green there is a problem in communication to the host as long as the Data LED is red.
Once communication is confirmed, turn on the engine and see that the PICCOLO is still on during and after the engine starts up.
