Client Server Database Technology

At the heart of AutoInTouch LIVE is it's SQL Database which holds all records of customer details, jobs in progress and invoice history. The Client Server Databse allows AutoInTouch LIVE to request all data held in your records quickly whether its held on your server in a local area network or even the server at your head office connected via the internet. All searches and reports are produced with minimal waiting time.

Any window you have open within AutoInTouch LIVE is shown on the left in the Window List allowing fast navigation through the system. Commonly used tasks are also shown for the current window doing away with hard to remember function key combinations.

Fast And Easy To Use Searches

Whether you are looking for a customer, vehicle or invoice, AutoInTouch LIVE provides easy to use search utilities. Customers can be found by name, address, postcode or telephone number. Invoices and Job Cards can be recalled searching by account, registration, document reference or even by product code.

Stay In Contact

AutoInTouch LIVE allows you to stay in contact with your customers. You can send MOT and service reminders by post or email and contact your customers by sms text message when their vehicle is ready for collection.

Electronic Diary

Keep track of work coming in for the day and the weeks ahead using the Workshop Diary. The electronic diary allows you to see at a glance when you have a free slot making it easy to book a customer in for work whilst they are on the phone.

Create a Job Card

AutoInTouch LIVE allows you to build up a Job Card by adding parts used from you stock control and work carried out on the job. Running totals show a break down by revenue code and VAT along with a Grand Total payable by the customer. Additional free text notes can be added to a line of the job card to provide extra information to the mechanic and customer. The Job Card can be filtered to show only Parts Used or Work Carried Out as well as the full document.

Receive Online MOT Bookings

With our add-on Online MOT Booking facility, we can provide you with a web page that allows your customers to check your MOT Diary for an available time slot and book their vehicle in. We can also provide additional web pages so you can advertise your services fully on the internet. Click here to see a working demo

All MOT bookings taken through your web page automatically appear in the AutoInTouch LIVE diary.

Note - A broadband connection is required with static ip address and your server must be on out of hours to receive bookings.
